Biography

Sadri Desenne

Partner in charge of the Financing department, Sadri Desenne and his team handle all structured financing issues, assisting banks, investment funds, and companies in structuring, negotiating, and implementing financing for a wide range of operations.

With experience gained at leading international firms, Sadri advises his clients on setting up senior financing, particularly in the context of leveraged buyouts or external growth strategies. He also assists his clients in setting up corporate financing aimed at optimizing liquidity and balance sheet structure, notably through syndicated loans, RCF, guarantee lines, factoring, or off-balance-sheet solutions. He also works on bond financing (unitranche, mezzanine, venture loan, etc.).

His practice also covers real estate financing related to acquisition, construction, promotion, and renovation of real estate assets, particularly in the hotel, office, and logistics sectors. His expertise extends to setting up bridge loans for French or foreign financial institutions.

He also works on project financing operations, particularly in the renewable energy sector (greenfield or brownfield), as well as for the development of biogas units, urban heating networks, and infrastructure.

Before joining Alerion, Sadri worked at leading international firms. He began his career at Ashurst, before joining CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats, where he worked from 2015 to 2021. He then joined Bird & Bird in 2021.

Graduated from ESSEC Business School, where he studied corporate and market finance, he also holds a Master 2 in banking and financial law as well as a Magistère in business law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He was admitted to the bar in 2013 and is registered with the Paris Bar.

Thanks to an approach combining legal rigor and understanding of financial mechanisms and issues, he supports his clients by offering pragmatic, tailor-made, and innovative solutions.
