Alerion welcomes Maëliss Bourbon as a Counsel effective September 6, 2021. She joins the firm’s Corporate Law – Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity department, which now counts 4 Partners, 3 Counsels, 7 Associates and 2 Legal Counsels.

Maëliss advises both French and international clients in all areas of corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, sales of companies and restructuring for French and cross-border transactions.

Maëliss started her career in several French and English law firms before joining the Corporate team at Herbert Smith Freehills for five years. Member of the Paris Bar, Maëliss holds a professional Master II in Business Law with a focus on Business Lawyers from Paris V Descartes University and a professional Master II in Business Law with a focus on European Business Lawyers from Paris V Descartes University.
